VSolitaire ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address, username, and password when you register
- Profile Information: Display name, avatar, and preferences you set
- Communications: Messages you send us, for example to hello@vsolitaire.com
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, game statistics, timestamps
- Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, error logs
- Cookies: Session and preference cookies (see Section 5)
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Sign-in Providers: If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, Discord or Telegram, we receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name, email address and profile picture

3. Information Sharing
3.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We never sell your personal information to third parties.
3.2 Service Providers
We share information with trusted providers who assist our operations:
- Hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare
- Amazon Web Services, which delivers our emails
- Analytics and crash reporting (Google Analytics and Firebase, provided by Google; see Section 5.3)
These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by:
- Court orders or legal process
- Government requests
- Protection of our legal rights
- Emergency situations involving personal safety
3.4 Business Transfers
In the event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred. You will be notified of any change in ownership.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
- Passwords stored only as salted hashes, never in plain text
- Access to production systems limited to the people who run VSolitaire
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable precautions.
5. Cookies and Tracking
5.1 Essential Cookies
Required for the Service to function:

5.2 Functional Cookies
Remember your preferences:
- Language settings
- Display preferences
- Game settings
5.3 Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 on our website and Google Analytics for Firebase in our mobile apps, both provided by Google, to understand how VSolitaire is used and to find and fix problems. Our mobile apps also use Firebase Crashlytics to report crashes.
What is collected: pages and screens viewed; game events such as starting and finishing a game, the game mode and the result; feature usage (for example sharing a replay or joining a Versus queue); error and crash reports; and technical data such as device type, operating system, browser, app version and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not send your name, email address, account ID or player ID to Google Analytics.
Not used for advertising: Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and we do not share analytics data with advertisers.
Cookies: on the website, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_FJXMM2G3GW cookies, which expire after at most 180 days.
How to opt out:
- Website: open Privacy settings in the site footer and choose Turn analytics off. Analytics stops immediately, the analytics cookies are deleted, and we remember your choice for 180 days. You can turn it back on at any time.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends either signal, analytics stays off automatically.
- Mobile apps: turn off Analytics in the app's settings.
- You can also install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Retention: Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months.

5.4 Cookie Control
You can manage cookies through browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

You can also delete your account yourself in the VSolitaire app under Settings → Delete account.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for:
- Account data: Until account deletion plus legal retention periods
- Records of past cash prize payouts: as long as tax law requires
- Game statistics: Indefinitely (anonymized after account deletion)
- Support communications: 3 years
- Analytics event data (Google Analytics): 14 months
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
9. Children's Privacy
VSolitaire is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@vsolitaire.com.
10. California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights:
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
- Right to opt out of sale (we don't sell data)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising rights
11. European Residents (GDPR)
If you're in the EEA/UK, you have additional protections:
- We process data under lawful bases described in Section 2
- You may lodge complaints with your local supervisory authority
- We've implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. The "Last Updated" date indicates the most recent revision.
