These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VSolitaire ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using VSolitaire, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using VSolitaire, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use VSolitaire.
2. Account Registration
2.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
2.2 One Account Per Person
You may maintain only one VSolitaire account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate matchmaking, or gain unfair advantages will result in termination of all accounts.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@vsolitaire.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Permitted Use
3.1 Personal, Non-Commercial Use
VSolitaire is provided for personal entertainment. You may not use the Service for commercial purposes without written authorization.
3.2 Fair Play
You agree to play fairly and not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Exploit bugs or glitches
- Manipulate matchmaking or rankings
- Collude with other players to fix outcomes
- Reverse engineer the Service
3.3 Community Standards
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Post offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to access other users' accounts
4. Free Service, No Cash Prizes
VSolitaire is free to use. There are no entry fees, paid tournaments or purchases.
VSolitaire previously ran weekly cash prizes for top leaderboard players. That program has ended, and no cash prizes or payouts are offered. If prizes are ever offered again, their rules will be published and these Terms updated before they start.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
VSolitaire and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive no ownership rights through use of the Service.
5.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use VSolitaire for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5.3 User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
6. Privacy
Your use of VSolitaire is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Termination
7.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time in the VSolitaire app under Settings → Delete account, or by emailing hello@vsolitaire.com from the address linked to your account.
7.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or at our discretion with notice.
7.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease
- We may retain certain data as required by law
8. Disclaimers
8.1 Service Availability
VSolitaire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
8.2 Third-Party Content
We are not responsible for content or services provided by third parties accessible through VSolitaire.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VSolitaire shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@vsolitaire.com to attempt informal resolution.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
