How it works

Race the board instead of waiting for turns

Classic turn-taking does not fit Klondike well because each player is solving their own board state. VS Solitaire works better as a race and score comparison: both players make Solitaire decisions in parallel, then the result decides the match.

  • Progress feedback shows the race without interrupting the board.
  • Score and time make close matches easier to compare.
  • Replay video gives the result a shareable artifact after the match.

Rules

Keep the rule set obvious before the first move

The cleanest VS matches agree on Draw 1 or Draw 3 before play starts. Draw 1 is faster to learn and easier for casual players. Draw 3 is stricter because stock order blocks more options.

  • Use Draw 1 for mixed-skill friend matches.
  • Use Draw 3 for stronger players who want a planning test.
  • Use the scoring guide when comparing serious leaderboard runs.

Growth loop

Turn a VS win into the next match

A completed VS game should not disappear into a private result. Share the replay, send a beat-my-score link, or point players to the fastest-player tracker when the run is good enough to show publicly.
